One of the big problems with the intersex movement is the sensationalization and objectification of intersex people’s stories. The story of our intersex participant Olga, published in the collection of the Queerfest 2017 festival “My intersex story” was posted in the public domain without attribution on the site http://veteran.spb.ru. Our lawyer Julia turned to the site administrator with an official complaint on behalf of Olga, and plagiarism was immediately removed. Do not allow the intersex lives to be used irresponsibly and anonymously for entertainment purposes.
