On February 27, 2018, the co-director and lawyer of the organization, Ilia, took part in the Scientific and Practical Conference “Days of Science of the Faculty of Law of the Higher School of Economics – 2018. Modern Technologies and Law”. The participant presented a report on the normalization of the bodies of intersex people as a violation of human rights, which highlighted the history, main types and consequences for the life and rights of intersex people of involuntary medical interventions in their bodies, as well as the reaction of the international community and national courts. In addition, he addressed the issues of discrimination of intersex people with the help of legal sex construction and highlighted issues of family law issues regarding transgender people.
