We are pleased to present our new publication, “Providing Healthcare to Patients with Variations of Sex Characteristic (Intersex Patients): A Guide for Healthcare Professionals”.
This publication is the result of our many years of academic and practical work analyzing the main needs, problems, and rights violations of Russian-speaking intersex individuals in the context of medical care provision. This guide not only contains a rich theoretical foundation but also offers numerous practical recommendations for medical professionals on how to organize and provide quality and ethical medical care to intersex patients. In addition to a glossary of key, related, and incorrect terms, core information, and common misconceptions about intersex individuals, the guide includes information on the following topics:
