On March 2-3, in St. Petersburg, the Association of Russian-speaking Intersex People held a Round Table “Intersex and Trans* Movements: Towards Cooperation”. The participants representing more than 10 initiatives and 12 cities, including foreign ones, got acquainted with the agendas of trans and intersex movements, outlined directions and concrete steps for further advocating for human rights, and developed joint documents for further interaction of the movements and their joint projects.

Having agreed on areas of joint activity and concrete steps in these areas, representatives created a framework document on cooperation – a resolution. It included four areas that were recognized as a priority. ARSI also supports the resolution and expresses its readiness to interact with intersex and trans * initiatives in these areas.
