Round table on the representation of intersex people in media

The co-director and founder of our organization participated in an international conference on human rights at the City University of New York. They discussed strategies to overcome the invisibility of intersex people in the media with colleagues and human rights activists from around the world. Important conclusions of the conference were the need for systematic education and the creation of accessible resources for journalists and editors of the mass media, as well as work with open sources of information (for example, Wikipedia). We would like to thank OutRight for the opportunity to discuss that important issue.
